a joke about a colleague
i have a Malay colleague by the name of Azmi in my office. He is quite a quiet and soft spoken guy. Sometimes he will stand in front of my desk to use the laminating machine.
I’m nt very close to him coz he doesn’t talk much even if I keep insisting to chat with him

But one day I suddenly had a very strange thinking about him while I was chatting with him.
Me: Why did your father name u ‘Azmi’?
Him: I also dunno le…never ask…
Me: I think I know why! When you were born hor, your dad went to the ‘birth department’. Then the officer there asked your dad ‘what’s your son’s name ah’
Then your dad cant really catch him as there were many people..so in his excitement, he shouted ‘Ask me ah..ask me ah!’
So that’s how you got your name la, rite?
Him: err… ‘forceful smile’
