letters from heaven
recently, empress dowager had not been feeling well. she had been experiencing a sharp pain at her right waist area. despite seeing many doctors, there had been no concluding reasons as what's wrong with her.

the worst was the doc at bedok polyclinic who didnt even take a look and just dismissed it as a sprain which will rectify by itself *roll eyes*. how is the standard of healthcare going to improve with this kinda attitude?

i told my mom that she has received a warning letter from heaven liao. it's probably a message telling her that its time she retires. she's 55 yrs old. every day she work from 4am to 2pm, its damn siong le! everytime i help out at the stall, i need 2 days to 'recover'

i read this story somewhere:-

someone died and went to heaven
at heaven, he saw god and asked, 'hey, how come u just suddenly called me up, u never gave me any hints or warnings! i didnt have time to prepare myself'

god replied,'huh! i sent u three letters altogether! and each time u ignored me! when u were in your 50s, did your eyesight deteriorate and u couldnt see properly? that was the first letter i sent u. then when u were in your 60s, u developed weak knees and u were not able to walk for long distances..that was my second letter to u. then when u were in your 70s, u lost part of your hearing... that was my third letter. but each time u chose to ignore them. u continued to waste time and didnt cherish what u had. i gave u so many chances but u wasted them away.

the man was too ashamed for words.

this story left a deep impression in me. each time i suffered a setback, i take it as a warning letter from heaven telling me to improve on myself.
