bangkok, my sacred land

i love bangkok.
the land of cheap clothes, cheap mani pedis, cheap hair extensions, cheap food, super nice orange juice, many happy stray dogs, super spas, unforgettable food massages and nice people (except those who try to chop carrots).

then why am i still in singapore? the only two reasons that i can think of is the cannot tahan heat and jams. can you imagine that there was once where we were stuck in a jam for 3 hours at the same spot - my wild imagination thinks its prob due to 3 men lying on the three lanes so the cars couldnt move at all!!! 3 hours of precious shopping time gone! and when the vehicle finally moved, there wasnt even any sign that an accident had taken place. really beats me why the vehicles couldnt move.

anyway, it was a super fruitful trip last week.
my loots
1. 35 pcs of clothings (lucky empress dowager dun hv to wash clothes for 1 mth)
2. 3 hours of foot massages
3. 1.5 hours of aromatherapy massage in heaven*
4. hair extensions
5. pretty nail art on my fingers and feet
6. a chance to carry tiger cubs and pet huge tigers
7. a taste of Japanese vegetarian food
8. durians wif glutinous rice

anyway, it was a short 5 days in heaven. i am back to hell now. :(

must go places that i die die have to go in thailand
1. Pratunum (includes Platinum Mall) for wholesale shopping
2. *Healthland Spa (http://www.healthlandspa.com/) - though upmarket, this is still pretty affordable for singaporeans. the ambience is fantastic and the massage is good. though the masseuse is not very chio :P
3. Four face buddha shrine opp Gaysorn plaza - sometimes can spot nicholas and cecilia cheung there.

and i am so dying to go back. i'm checking cheap air tics again! and this time, i must go to this 白龙宫(white dragon temple) not paragon ok, coz i heard can see many hk stars there also. hehe!
