funny communication

When you take the MRT, do you hear the announcement in 4 different languages? Something like..if you notice any suspicious documents, please call xxx’…
I cant remember the exact words but I just like the tamil message especially the ‘wombadel wombadel wombadel’ part. Just think it sounds so cute like ‘warm bladder, warm bladder, warm bladder’. But it actually means ‘999’ la.
But according to my Indian friend, another meaning for ‘wombadel’ means ‘transvestite’. So strange right? Asking people to shout ‘transvestite! Transvestite! Transvestite’ 3 times when they see suspicious parcels?!! Ha ha ha~

This reminds me of another funny incident. I have a small prayer hall at home and once we were having a praying session, So we were supposed to say ‘弟子‘which means ‘disciple’ then say out our own name. And guess what I overheard?
Friend: ‘Di Zi’ Blk xxx Changi south road xxx
Me: *blur* hello! What u saying ah?
Friend: they say ‘Di Zi’ mah! So I say address lor
Me: Di Zi is ‘disciple’ la! *faint*

One more stupid incident which just happened last week. I was on a communication course at NACLI. So I was in the toilet, then I took some (to be exact – 5 squares) toilet paper out to wipe my hands after washing. Then at this time hor, very zhun one, the toilet lady had to come in and saw the toilet paper in my hands and nagged ‘wah, u take so many toilet paper! Very expensive one le!’
And the next thing I know, the girls in my course heard that I took 1 roll of toilet paper from the toilet so the auntie scolded me. Wah lao eh! Only 5 square ok! Not 1 roll le!!!! KNS :(
